The work of the General Assembly is never done.  Even though the regular session has adjourned legislators gather each week for joint committee meetings during the "interim" period running from June through November.  For example, the House and Senate Judiciary Committees will meet at once each month during the interim period to discuss various issues and hear testimony from witnesses to further the discussion.  The committees will use this interim period to learn more about the issues it will face during the upcoming regular session. I will post the official notices and/or agendas of each meeting as they are published each month for the committees on which I serve, including: Judiciary*, Veterans/Military Affairs/Public Protection**, Transportation, Natural Resources & Energy, Agriculture, Tobacco Settlement Fund Oversight, Capital Planning Advisory Board and the Juvenile Code Reform Task Force*.
