I've always been opposed to abortion from a pure policy standpoint - its the termination of a life God chose to create. But yesterday's news regarding the "Plan B" pill has prompted me to share some information on the methods of abortion. The "medical procedures" used seem lifted right out of a horror film. Proponents of these procedures are turning a blind eye to life, and their willful ignorance of those lives is disturbing in the extreme.
In Kentucky, a woman seeking an abortion can give informed consent to her abortion doctor by merely listening to a recording about procedures as grotesque as these. Opponents of the "informed consent bill," which would require a patient to actually meet their doc face to face (Heaven forbid), claim women would be shamed by having to endure such a meeting. But I want to know how a physician, whose ultimate oath of profession is to heal, doesn't feel shame at carrying out a procedure that, if performed on a newborn child, would be considered torturous murder.
